The short version
- What you type into a FluVana app stays on your device. We cannot see it.
- Cloud sync is optional and off by default. Turn it on and your app data is stored on our servers so you can reach it from any device. Only your account can read it.
- We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers.
What we collect
When you buy — payment is handled by Whop, so we never see your card number. Whop is the merchant of record for your purchase, which means they take the payment and handle the tax. We receive your name, email, billing country, and what you ordered. We have to: tax law requires sales records, and we need it to support you.
When you email us — your message and our reply, so we know your history next time.
When you visit — standard server logs (IP, browser, pages, time) for security. Cookies only for your cart, session, and cookie choice. If we ever add analytics, we will ask first.
Your app data
On your device by default. Your budget, lesson plan, or guest list is saved in your own browser. It never reaches us, it works offline, and we cannot recover it for you. Clearing your browser storage deletes it permanently — use the export button.
Cloud sync, only if you switch it on. You create an account with an email and password. Your data is then stored with Supabase (on AWS). The database itself blocks any other account from reading your record. Your password is hashed — we never see it. We only look at records to fix a fault or when you ask.
Depending on the app, that data can be sensitive: household finances, body measurements and photos, training records, or family arrangements. We treat all of it as confidential. If you would rather we did not hold it, leave sync off — every app works fully without it.
When sync is on, the app loads a software library from the jsDelivr CDN, which sees your IP address. No app data is sent in that request.

Also if the law requires it. Some suppliers are in the US; our contracts cover data leaving the UK or EU.
How long we keep it
- Order records — 7 years (tax)
- Support emails — 2 years
- Cloud-sync data — until you delete it
- Server logs — 90 days
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete anything we hold. Email [email protected] — we reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
UK and EU buyers have full GDPR rights, including portability and the right to object, and can complain to their data protection authority. California residents have CCPA rights; we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To delete a cloud account and everything in it, email us from the account's address. Deletion is permanent — export first if you want a copy.
Security
Traffic is encrypted. Cloud data sits behind per-account database rules. Passwords are hashed, never stored readably. If a breach ever affects you, we will tell you and the regulator within the required time.
Children
Not intended for under-16s. Homeschool and teacher planners are used by adults to record information about children — that stays under the adult account holder's control.
